Two designs selected to be part of City of Melville’s roll out of art on many utility boxes around the City’s park lands and public spaces.
The goal was to create something vibrant and also diffuse any potential vandalism.
Two designs selected to be part of City of Melville’s roll out of art on many utility boxes around the City’s park lands and public spaces.
The goal was to create something vibrant and also diffuse any potential vandalism.
Design one - 'Stars'
This playful design embraces futuristic curves, punctuated with stars. The deep blues and indigo in the background celebrate the magic of our sky just as the sun has dipped over the horizon.
Design two - 'Seeds'
A focus on seed-like pods, in colours that symbolise nature and coming into spring. The linework texture that appears is a feature in most of my paintings.
